Megan Dulgar, Northwest Region CEO
SEATTLE, WA — The luckywin is proud to announce theappointment of Megan Dulgar as the new Regional Chief Executive Officer of the NorthwestRegion. Dulgar will also serve as the Executive Director for the King CountyChapter, one of five chapters in theregionshe now leads.
“Ihave seen the Red Cross humanitarian mission in action across the country. Itis an honor to support this work in the region I call my home. I look forward to leading the team here inthe Northwest Region to achieveeven stronger community connectionsas we alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies. And we will do itwith a deepened focus on equity, providing more services to those with thegreatest need,” she said.
Meganfirst joined the Red Cross as a volunteer in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2006, relocatingto Washington with her husband in 2016. Her family now includes two youngchildren living in Seattle’s Wallingford neighborhood. She most recently servedas the Senior Director of Humanitarian Services Operations at Red Cross National Headquarters in Washington D.C. Previous positions include being a RegionalFundraiser, Executive Director, Division Chief Operating Officer, DivisionVolunteer Services Executive, and Interim Regional Executive.
As CEO of the Northwest Region, she will focus on building strong partnerships and contributing to the strength and vibrancy of communities.
Through her experience on disaster deployments, as a blood donor, and assomeone who has put her Red Cross training to use to help save a life, Megandeeply understands the power of our Red Cross mission.

She now overseesan operation that includesalmost 2,000DZܲԳٱԻ52Dz. Thiscombined workforce responds to more than1,000local disasters each year; educates residents on homefire safety and emergency preparedness; deploys to disasters outside the region; supports the annual collection of approximately33,000units of blood; teacheslifesaving skills to tens of thousands of individuals and companies; deliversaid to international Red Cross partners and those affected by emergenciesacross the globe; and provides support to military members, veterans, and theirfamilies.

TheNorthwest Region stretches from Washington’s Pacific coastline to the northerncounties of Idaho’s panhandle, a landscape that offers Megan and her family endlessopportunities to hike and explore, spend the day at the beach or surrounded bymountains.
